Decorating With Bath Towels

Using bath towels to decorate your bathroom is often something people don’t think about, but it can really spruce up the overall look. Gone are the days of just hanging the bath towels you use on the towel rack – today’s towels, when used correctly, can add beauty to any bathroom.

First off, you need to think about the overall look you want for your bathroom. Some people like to have a theme, such as a beach motif. Even if you don’t pick a theme, you will want to purchase bath towels in colors that compliment your walls, cabinetry, counter top, and shower curtain.

Using a wine rack is a great way to display hand towels. If the wine rack is short, you can place it on the counter. If you find one that is taller, you can sit it on the floor. Fold the hand towel in half, and then roll it up. Place several rolled hand towels in the towel rack for a beautiful display.

Another way to decorate with towels is to purchase a chair that matches your motif. You can then fold and stack bath towels in the chair. Chances are no one will be sitting in the chair anyhow and the towels are not only decorative, but also easily accessible.
